One
Stage One
provides quality educational experiences for students in
Years One and Two. Stage One teachers provide excellent
early literacy and numeracy programs and they are supported
in this through their involvement in professional
development courses such as Good First Teaching and Count
Me In Too. Programs are designed to meet the learning needs
of individual students. The highly successful Reading
Recovery program is provided for students in Year One who
require a specialist support program in reading and
writing.
Students in Year Two participate in the Parish Sacramental
program for First Reconciliation. Learning experiences are
enriched through the use of Information Communication
Learning Technologies across all Key Learning Areas,
excursions around the local area and involvement in a wide
range of community events.
